Learning Expeditions
Dear Friends,
After deciding to wind down LITS Global in 2024, we wanted to preserve what matters most - the journey we shared over the past 12 years.
Since 2012, we have been dedicated to developing future-ready leaders through our fully customized Learning Expeditions. By combining collaborative immersion, exposure to global innovation ecosystems and hands-on experiences, our programs helped leaders expand their perspectives, build new capabilities and navigate the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
Over the years, we delivered six-figure (€) programs across 10+ global business hubs, working with clients and partners including Siemens, Lufthansa, Nokia, Sealed Air, BSH, HPE, Mastercard, Alibaba, SAP, Maersk and many others.
The years also brought plenty of challenges and change. From 2020 onward, we successfully transformed our Learning Expeditions into engaging virtual experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic and continued adapting as the needs of organizations and leaders evolved. Ultimately, in 2024, we decided it was the right time to close this chapter and move on to new opportunities.
To everyone who worked with us, trusted us, challenged us and supported us - thank you. We are proud of the leaders we helped shape, the learning experiences we created and the relationships we built along the way. It has been a privilege to be part of your growth and transformation.
With gratitude,
Projects for individuals (2012-2014)
We started LITS Global in 2012, inspired by the values reflected in our name: Learning, Impact, Travel and Sustainability.
Our biggest initial influence was AIESEC - the world's largest student-led organization - where we met and spent much of our university years. It was there that we developed a shared belief that the best way to grow as a leader isn't by sitting in a classroom, but by tackling meaningful challenges in an unfamiliar environment. More info about our approach here.
Our original vision was to partner with large corporations and deliver Learning Expeditions as part of their graduate and leadership development programs. However, as a newly established company, we lacked the track record needed to become a credible corporate partner.
We thus launched three programs for individual participants, giving us the experience and initial credibility needed. Those first Learning Expeditions took place in Kolkata (August 2013) and twice in New Delhi (November 2013, July 2014), laying the foundation for the next phase.
We attracted positive media attention and were featured in leading Czech media outlets, incl. Forbes, iDnes or Radiožurnál.

Beginnings of our program for corporate customers
First corporate program: Global Challenge (2015-2016)
Our first experiential learning program for corporate clients was called Global Challenge: a four-week, out-of-comfort-zone business project carried out in collaboration with a local social enterprise in India.
The concept (see our brochure) was built on the same principles as our early individual programs: participants were challenged to solve a real business problem in an unfamiliar environment, develop new perspectives and grow through hands-on experience. We enhanced the concept by introducing a professional coach who supported participants throughout the journey, helping them reflect on their experiences and connect their learnings to their leadership development.
Our first corporate client was Lufthansa, which integrated Global Challenge into its 18-month graduate development program (ProTeam).

Portfolio addition: The EDGE (2017-2019)
At the time, digital transformation was one of the defining challenges facing organizations worldwide. Companies were navigating a rapidly changing landscape shaped by trends such as smart cities, Industry 4.0, connected mobility, smart energy and others. Leaders needed not only new knowledge, but also exposure to emerging technologies, innovative business models and the mindset required to lead transformation.
Following extensive conversations with leadership development executives across Europe, we identified an opportunity to create a new program for senior high-potential leaders.
The result was The EDGE - an immersive leadership development program combining two- to five-day experiences in the world’s leading business hubs. Participants met with industry experts, entrepreneurs and executives, gaining first-hand perspectives on breakthrough innovations, evolving leadership practices and strategic shifts shaping their industries.
It quickly demonstrated strong market demand. From 2017-2019, we delivered the program in Singapore, New York, Paris, Berlin, Boston and other global innovation centres for a diverse group of corporate clients and partners.

COVID-19: Virtual programs (2020-2024)
The arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020 had a very significant impact on LITS Global, as our programs were built around international travel, in-person experiences and direct exposure to global business ecosystems.
We used the disruption as an opportunity to reinvent our approach. We designed a new framework that allowed us to transform our Learning Expeditions into virtual experiences while preserving the elements that made them valuable: access to innovative companies, exposure to inspiring leaders and productive collaboration.
The post-pandemic environment brought lasting changes to the way organizations approached international travel, executive learning and leadership development. While virtual formats created new opportunities, the demand for in-person global experiences never fully returned to pre-pandemic levels.
In 2024, in response to these evolving market dynamics, we made the strategic decision to conclude LITS Global’s services and redirect our focus toward new professional opportunities.
